Feasibility and Intervention selection
The team identified and prioritized interventions to the performance problem and provided criteria for IYR to leverage. The team selected interventions using Siko’s (2013) I2 Intervention Selection Matrix to visually represent both the anticipated benefit and the opportunity cost associated across proposed solutions. IYR is nonprofit, so time (cost) and impact are important factors influencing the team’s selection of interventions. Figure 7 illustrates a time investment matrix for determining intervention selection. Further, IYR HR must also weigh the risk involved with certain interventions. Figure 8 Illustrates a risk matrix in determining intervention selection across the team’s prioritized and alternative interventions. The team recommends IYR consider both time investment and risk appetite when assessing proposed solutions.
